I’m the owner and lead floral designer at Wildflower Weddings & Events. I also own Velvet Lounge Boutique in Downtown Frederick. Being the daughter of a local farmer, I found my love for flowers and creating beautiful things at a young age. I was always creating, planting, growing and arranging things with my Mom on my Dad’s large agricultural operation. I also love fashion and attended art school after high school. I opened my boutique at the age of 22 in Downtown Frederick. Throughout the years of being a small business owner, I discovered that I was happiest when creating a window display or redesigning the store layout. After a few workshops, some friends' weddings, and a whole lot of random flower experiences, Wildflower Weddings & Events was born. 10 years later.. we’re still going strong and have grown so much! I’m so thankful for all of the couples who trust Wildflower Weddings & Events with their big day and continue to refer us to their friends. Each wedding has its own character, specific designs and challenges and I love embracing them all.
